Company and Product Philosophy

How many years have you been in business? [-]
Quick Collect was first developed in 1989 and implemented on Palopinto handhelds. Since then the software has been redeveloped as handheld technology advanced. The current version of Quick Collect has been in the field since 2004. We are currently developing Quick Collect to communicate with a web-based hub (Quick Hub) so adding wells or making other changes to a handheld in the field can be done remotely over the web. We expect to have Quick Hub in the field by the end of the first Quarter ’08.
What Production Databases does Quick Collect work with? [-]
Currently Quick Collect is working with Fieldview, Hoops and PVR. Quick Collect has also been adapted to fit other customer specific databases, optimization packages and web-based resources.
Does Quick Collect do any calculations? [-]
Quick collect does Basic inventory calculations based on tank volumes, tickets and gauge boards (tank factors). Quick collect also performs well flow calculations.
Does Quick Collect record Oil Battery data? [-]
Quick Collect manages oil battery data, single well battery data, gas well data, gas plant data and plant readings.
What data does Quick Collect specifically collect? [-]

Multi well oil battery

Gas Pd fuel meters
Liquid meters including oil pipeline, sources and injection wells
Gas chart (group gas, fuel gas)

What Oilfield Companies use your Product? [-]
Currently we have contracts with Conocophillips, Pengrowth, and PARL. We are doing pilots with other companies and our interest with our current clients is significant.

Originally we had a larger client list but as companies have merged and been bought are client list has shortened but our interest has remained the same size.


Can Quick Collect be customized? [-]
Yes, we understand that no two companies or locations collect the same data or data the same way so we are always making changes to meet our customers’ unique data collect needs.
How many days of data does Quick Collect store? [-]
Quick Collect will store two days of production data on the handheld and a year’s worth on the field computer (Quick Uploader). The last sixteen truck tickets of each tank are stored and a week’s worth of plant readings are stored for each data point in the plant.
What do feel is your main advantage over your competition? [-]
We can customize our product to meet customer needs. We are not asking our customers to change their data collection to meet an “Off the shelf” product. That and customer support.
How do operators react to moving to an electronic data collection device? [-]
When Quick Collect is administered top-down there is a natural push back but as the operators start to see that the product saves them time and headaches it becomes another well-used tool in their pouch.
Do you provide support for your software? [-]
We provide 24 hour support to a live and trained specialist over our toll-free support number. We will make site visits at moment’s notice if needed an are always working to affect a solution that will appease both the client and end user.
